Nice! But wouldn't you rather own a 60th Anniversary reissue rather than a '57 Broad Arrow homage watch with incorrect bracelet, lugs and case size? Only kidding of course! =)

I will own the 60th anniversary issue if I have enough funds after buying the Speedy Tuesday. I think the 57' Replica is a good alternative. Furthermore, it's only $2k USD with full box and papers.

I'm interested. Where is the AD exactly?

Sydney, Australia. Apparently the guy decided to order the set instead ::facepalm1::

Interesting. Interest must be waning in the antipodes, perhaps because of the cost. I got the call from an OB in Melbourne, and I was number eight on the list with a four watch allocation.

Thanks for sharing these. Might have to give that a better look when I pick my Speedy up. Those photos make it more appealing to me for some reason.

You're welcome. I have to agree with you McJames, the photograph/lighting can change my total impression of this collection. One photo I love 'em and the next I feel that they might be too polished. I have a deposit on the Speedy as well and I'm looking forward to trying on the Seamaster. I really like the classic vintage looks but I'm very concerned that Omega might have overdone the bling. Time will tell. Oh, I think the polished bracelet/links have a great deal to do with this. I think the leather strap will transform these watches into the watch we are hoping for.

Jesus, these are absurdly expensive.
I can't believe they're charging this kind of premium compared to a speedy pro.
I bought a used 3594.50 last month for under $2,300, best purchase I've made in a long time. Now if I could find a way to get a rail master without spending $7k that'd be something

Do y'all think the Railmaster will be sold for less several moths down the line? I love the look of the railmaster, but can't justify spending $7k on it when a cal 321 Speedy sells for about the same...

Hard to say Beepos, although I wouldn't be surprised as (from what I've been told by my OB) it's the least popular of the three.

Absolutely.

I don't know. The numbers are so limited on the anniversary editions I don't think they'll have too much trouble selling their stock. My AD is hoping for 2 of each, but won't be surprised to get none at all.

The new railmaster collection though (non limited editions) should go at a better price. I believe Hodinkee said 40mm railmaster collection would start at $5k. There I'd expect to see some discounts by early 2018.

I'm sorry but I didn't read all 50 pages of this thread but I would love to have a 20mm version of that bracelet for the normal speedmaster. I love the look and especially how the end links don't extend past the lugs. Any word on this bracelet becoming available in 20mm?

Nope. As of now I've only heard of the 19mm version.

That said, with the popularity of these models I wouldn't be surprised if down the road we see a similar bracelet on future speedies. Omega has a pretty big anniversary coming up in 2019 and if they choose that as an opportunity to re-issue the 105.012, you could realistically expect to see another 1039-ish bracelet. Probably just a matter of time.

Is it just me or can I not take the word "anniversary" seriously from Omega anymore?

For the 60th '57 Seamaster 300 fans, my OB just sent me these photos.
Managed to make a 38mm watch look too big? REALLY small wrists!

Still, 50th anniversary of the moonlanding is a pretty big deal. Arguably more important to the brand than 60 years of speedmasters.

Pretty inarguable imo. Without the Moonlanding, the Speedy would be a nice watch, but just another chrono- like the Breitling Navitimer. I mean, Omega as a brand is defined by the Speedy- of course they make other great watches, but what separates the brand is the Speedy- and the Speedy is the MOONWATCH
