Hi friends!
I'm Michele from Italy and I'm new to the forum. I've been gifted many watches over the years, but it's only recently that I've really developed a passion for them, thanks to some gifts from my grandparents for my graduation.

I was given this Omega as a gift (it belonged to my grandfather, and unfortunately, my little sister ruined it for me) and I've started researching to understand its history, but I can't find anything on the Omega
Could you help me?

The movement is thought to be an R17.8SC, and the serial number dates it to 1941.
The dial appears to be reprinted, perhaps, and the case (32mm) resembles that of a CK 2415.
Could it be a Frankenstein?

Let me know if you know anything or if you can suggest a way to find out!

Probably the same, but different dial. People look for the same dial, but Omega use many dial designs and you might only find if someone posted it
