I think it could be, but yeah the crown looks a bit weird. Did the seller state whether or not it was original crown? Also: Mind if I ask which site you used?

Crown is likely a replacement. If an unsigned original, it needs to be replaced anyway. Rest of the watch looks original. Normally, I'd want movement pictures. However, at current price, it's worth taking a chance. I think it would have a cal. 30T2, but you could be surprised. gatorcpa
I also bet it's a 30mm, the second hands subdial would be smaller on a 26.5. Probably this one (in a 1940 French catalog) :
