Hi all,

Recently saw what I think is a good example of a non-Seamaster vintage Omega Cal 321 chronograph in 18k gold. I haven't seen many of these tbh, so I can't say I'm well equipped to tell whether it is in good condition or not. The lugs weren't super sharp, but from what I know usually gold watches tend to be a bit on the softer side. It wasn't overly polished at least by my impression.

Anyone have any other examples of these? I'm curious, do they usually fetch less than their Seamaster counterparts?

I'm working on getting some pictures for you guys to take a look..., watch is not in my possession.

Should also say, was 18k rose gold. Handsome piece overall, I'm just more curious about the collectibility.

Hmmm, interesting. I'm not seeing any identical examples to what I saw. It had non-lumed alpha hands similar to the one pictured by @about3blank on page 8 (stole the picture below, hope that's OK), but the case lugs were closer to what you see with a CK2907 Seamaster (beefier/thicker).

Definitely 3-register and seller says it's a cal 321. Entirely in solid rose gold. Can't remember whether it had coffin markers. Anyways, I'll post some pictures as soon as I get them.

You need to make sure it is an 18k swiss case and not a contract case from South America that may not even be gold. Many cal. 321 omegas are like the latter and not attractive to collectors.

Hi guys, here it is. Bit more info for you guys and some nice pictures.
It is a cal 321, ref 2466, non-Seamaster signed Omega chronograph. Seller had said late 40s (which wouldn't make sense given cal 321), but I checked and it's 1958.
Inside of caseback stamped Swiss Made, presumably that's what you were referring to @MSNWatch ?

Dial is what I'd call good but there are a few small blemishes. Not even sure they'll show up in the pictures. Most obvious is near 120 on tachy scale and around the subdials.
Movement looks to be in great condition, although I don't look at the cal 321s very often.
Lugs look sharp, retain bevelled edge to some degree although I find it's harder to see on a gold watch (especially in the picture).
Personally I think it's beautiful. Would be cool to own a cal 321.

Very interesting...I think I just found the same watch posted about a few months ago @Dan S . Seems me and that Jake85 guy might be from the same town. Guy I'm buying from said someone came in interested in the watch and then changed their mind. Same story in jake's post, dealer I'm speaking to said he sent to Omega in Switzerland, they basically told him it was original, cleaned the movement, but didn't replace anything. He didn't get any certificate, just they told him they thought it was original. He also wouldn't comment on a price, I'm guessing he hasn't researched the watch yet and doesn't want to low ball. I do trust this dealer, although he's not specialised in vintage exclusively.

Any thoughts guys? Look good to you? Any ideas on pricing (can DM me your thoughts, I would really appreciate opinions).

I don't think so. He is looking for the highest offer and will then haggle to get an even better price.

What size it is without crown?

I didn't measure but I'd guess 35-36 mm

The more I look at it the more I'm undecided whether it's significantly polished or not. I think I'll have to go back and look at it and get pictures with better lighting...
