Omega 166.062 “Big Crown” different early dials?

Hello Forum,

while observing at some pictures of the Omega 166.062 a.k.a. big crown, I found that there are two different early dials (without 60).

the first one has a light grey outer dial and white minute indices:


The second one has a lighter outer dial with blue and white mi ute indices (pic taken from an old ad here on OF):


By looking at the fonts, they look quite similar to me. My opinion is that both dials are genuine.
What is your opinion?

They both look good and to be honest I have never noticed this difference. I have two that were purchased from different parts of the world and they both look like the first example.

Regarding the "seamaster 60" designation, I was under the impression that this wasn't connected to the age of the watch, but rather the part of the world. I'd be curious to hear if anybody has a definitive answer about this.
