Hi all, I just made an eBay purchase on an omega sea master de ville, cal 560 that I'm dating to around 1966. I believe it to be original but I wanted your perspectives as well. Thanks! http://m.ebay.com/itm/122690454131?_mwBanner=1Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Looks quite nice. Only a single "T" for tritium hands (or markers)? Probably not a big issue as the "SWISS MADE T" is nicely centered. But. The placement of "AUTOMATIC" and the positioning of some of the hour minute markers, as well as the Omega/DeVille placement makes me think that this dial has been "refreshed". Lovely movement too.
I thought the 560 also came in a 166.020? I saw versions of them doing some research like this one here. But yes I do think the 560 was a rarer made caliber https://omegaforums.net/threads/need-opinion-on-omega-seamaster-deville-1965-cal-560-166-020.17506/
IMO Cal 560 do exist in Omega Swiss-made case, but not too many. This dial has been "cleaned" & relumed.
