sory guys hello good morning how are u today it was rude for me not saying hello I was with the watch for a short time ! If u could help it would be greatly appreciated ! Thank u !
That looks correct. Try doing a search on the model # here on OF or on Google and you will see other similar ones (i.e., no black bezel)
As u can probably tell I'm new to this this would be my first omega so I wanna make sure everything is correct !
So the bezel is just flat and the crystal looks high ! 500 as to where I'm not gonna divulge that yet
Just messing with you. For a full look over we need more photos. from what I can see, that is a very nice example of what some would call a Speedmaster Companion. It has what is known as a "technical dial" sunburst finish with reticle (cross-hairs). Cal 552 movement ser# 24xxxxxx which would date the watch to 1966. The case is complete, although it need a new seal.
There are no absolutes when dealing with Omega. The case reference number would be correct, although, as shown in the example above, we would expect to see the Hippocampus on the case-back matching the Seamaster designation on the dial. That case-back is usually associated with Geneves, which were also seen with 165.002 cases.
