路If you like that, look for a Louis Brandt & Freres grade CCR (19-jewels), or the CCCR (23- jewels). Looks like the same movement. You may look for one for a while, but when you find one, it will be about 1/20 th of the cost.

Those are gorgeous.
My Great-Grandfather was a railroad man, and had one of the above but in a Birks (IIRC) case. It was a beautiful thing indeed and a cousin still has it. He also had a silver-cased Elgin that I have now, Not so fancy but still runs like a top.

Actually this is a tip of the hat to the Grade " VERY BEST " which I always refered to as a SUPER DDR grade 19"' ( also made in 20"')...
They are all based on the "Omega" pocket watch movement... ( A, B, C, CCR, CCCR, DR , DDR and VERY BEST )....
I have one somewhere.....I will find pics and post .....
