Hi,

I bought this band Forums Seamaster 166.027 and wanted to ask if it’s original?
One link is weird. It’s missing also an 516 endlink.
Could I use the 560 endlinks for the watch?

Original , and sized in the absolute most awful way of removing folded links (while butchering the rest of the bracelet) instead of removing spring links which are specifically designed for quick removal and adjustment of the length. You are missing 5 folded links. 3 on one side, 2 on the other. That's why the taper is all wonky...

Thank you! It was very cheap but it fits my wrist.
Which Link do I need to size it correct?

The one to fit the gap where the age is on your bracelet. Looks like the second fixed link after the spring links.

Finding one won’t be easy, then you need to get it installed which is also difficult.

I’d suggest using this as is, and just trying to find another with all the original links.

You are looking for a bracelt for a 166.027?

You can use of course whatever you want but other ones -like 1098?- were more common on these, right @Davidt?

I didn’t even notice that part of the question.

@Passover is of course correct. A 1039 isn’t right for a 166.027.

If you want a flatlink you need a 1067 bracelet with 532 Endlinks.
Otherwise a 1069/524 or 1098/540

The most economic way to fix this issue will be to sell this bracelet and buy another better one that hasn’t been massacred.
There’s no upside in trying to restore this.
