I have a 1039 available for sale. It has seen better days. It is functional as-is and can be restored to full length. It isnt a bad base to be improved by adding/replacing the spring links, or good for the other parts alone.
The Good:
- Complete bracelet
- Fully connected 8 fixed links + one stretch link on each side
- The clasp opens and closes correctly, tightly, and feels very secure.
- Priced according to the condition
The Bad:
-I did not take them fully apart but believe the last owner used the Dennis Method* of spring repair. It looks like the springs have broken and there are bits of hard sponge-like material in place to provide resistance. (Could also be years of crud built up)
*If I can prove it is ex-Dennisthemenace the price doubles!!! lol
- covers of both the spring links are bent. Looks okay on the wrist but ugly on the backside
- end pieces where you put the spring bars are a bit bent as well with tool marks on the back
- light dent to top of clasp
Worth Noting:
- Undated clasp; Most believe these are service bracelets or produced towards end of production when undated but not confirmed to best of my knowledge.
- Plenty of vintage wear apparent, scratches on clasp etc
The Deal
$600 delivered in the US, or $600 plus postage ROW ($25 to eu no tracking, $45 to eu with tracking)
Paypal & Wise preferred, Zelle accepted.
Returns are no issue if not as described but please not because you changed your mind.
