Hello! I have what I believe to be an original service SM300 bezel : I also just took a set of macros of the digits with another camera: The "bubbly", slightly uneven paint is original I believe? I compared to the pictures o the thread: https://omegaforums.net/threads/new...e-bezel-intact-macro-shots-will-decide.42483/ I found it at an old watchmaker I know, old-school guy, from the pre-internet days, he worked at an Omega repair station back in the 70-80s. So, given the provenance, I'd say it is good but I welcome any input about it. I also have a few questions about it: - how do we differentiate the bezels for CK2913, 14755 and 165.014? I really am not an expert on these old divers references - what could be the ballpark value of this thing? As parts they don't pop up very often... Good sm300 watches are already 10k+ it seems The reason I ask for a rough value estimate is that I will probably trade it for a lesser valuable but complete watch in the future, because vintage SM300 prices are out of range for me, the probability of finding a cheap but proper one without bezel seems very slim. I'd like to do it right (1st confirm the originality, then have a clearer idea of the value in order to setup a smooth trade for every party). Thanks for your help!
Nice find! Looks legit to me. As far as I know there's no hard and fast way to differentiate these bezels fitting on a 2913 or 14755 or 165014s except try it on and see if it fits. Ballpark value- few bucks If you want I'll get rid of it for you
Is the piper dot at 12 radium? A GC will tell you in seconds. If yes, that would narrow it down to 2913 or 14755. If it’s a TT dot, it is probably for later examples such as 165014-63 and 64. The 2913 and 14755 cases are not quite identical and the bezels are often of slightly different fit. https://omegaforums.net/threads/ck2913-bezel.20788/#post-226085 Edit: and if you want trade out of this bezel......message me
