Hi all

I picked this up awhile back but its not running ive tried a few places to see if they will look at it locally but no one seems interested.

Is there any one on here from the UK who could look at it for me i don't mind paying or is it not worth it

It could be a low grade manual wind movt and chrome case...it is it, prob not worth fixing.

Do you have a pic of the caseback?

It looks like an inexpensive private label dive style watch from the 60s...they made a ton of them.

yes its cheap movement looks cheap as well just a shame as the condition is nice

 

Have a watchmaker take a look...see if they can't just do the bare minimum to get it running.

I had a similar one of these once that I picked up for pretty much nothing - you are right, they do look nice, but have a base metal case with a SS back. I ended up chucking it in the trash at one point.

 

it only cost me £1

 

I have one, bought it for the misses, great beater for her when camping or fishing.

1970s if I recall correct. Keeps good time for what it is.
