Old Rolex - what is a good resource for information?

    I am interested in this rolex. Has an inscription dated 1951, so should be older than that. Apparently has a 1210 movement. Can anyone point me towards a good source of information or can identify this more accurately. I can source some more images

    Definitely need more pics, esp model and SN between the lugs, and inner case back. Dial looks original though lugs have had some polishing. This is a non-Oyster model.

    One thing: pretty easy to (grossly) overpay on stuff like this....
