    The watch does have 37,5 mm case

    Is the first number of the movement serial number an 8?

    So the mouvement number matches the case number one! The watch dates back around 1935 and looks legit.
    I am sure Yann (@Tire-comedon) will have more info.

    Yupp, thank you...i read somewhere else that movement was from 1926 to 1935 circa in fact ...

    The caliber (26.5) dates back to 1926, and was produced untill 1950. But the serial number indicates that your particular movement dates back to circa 1934.

    By the way, when looking at the datas matching serial numbers and years, you have to take care of a typo. The Omega official doc states that the 9 000 000 serial numbers dates back to 1926, though it should be 1936. See above:

    A new world is opening to me now and i like a lot...i love vintage items a lot..being me an avid flyfisher , i m collecting vintage fly fishing reels for example ...

    Being i new to this world, i don t understand why the number code of the movement that begins with 8 , matches with that of the back case that begins with 9 ?
    Sorry for my ignorance...

    Just look at the doc I posted in my previous message and compare the case numbers and the movement ones!
