Old Omega Geneve Automatic - Suspicious Dial???

Hi Guys,

I would kindly ask you for your help/opinion for an other time.
First of all I have to apologize for the bad quality of the foto but right now this is the only one I have.

Apart from the incorrect second hand I am not sure whether the dial is original. Especially the font of AUTOMATIC is suspicious in my opinion. (crosshair does not cross the first part of the M as I have seen on other dials)

Any thoughts on that or other concerns which are visible?

I love the style of these old Geneves.

This is exactly what I meant. The thing is that the rest of the dial seems to be original to me. (the Geneve looks good, minute markers and crosshair as well)

Redial???

Is it a 14702? Have you got any other pics?

The horizontal 'M' makes me nervous and the General quality doesn't look great but it could be down to the picture quality.

If I had to judge off that one pic I'd say redial.

Thickness of the crosshairs, 'automatic' text, sunburst finish.

May be the photo but my gut reaction is o don't like it.

Have you compared to other 14702's to see if you can find an original one with this style text?

Dont like it. The Geneve text is right but not sure about the sunburst effect. The case is lovely though with good definition.

Checked the net and couldn't find a similar one. In the Omega bible there is only a small pic and therefore hardly visible.

Some early Geneves had the cursive script before they went to more recognizable Geneve script.

Wrong case for the dial, methinks...
