A friend showed me his inherited watch. Condition is almost NOS besides dirty glass etc. Only a few hairlines on the case. The watch has been tucked away the last 30y as the original buyer has passed away. His son, the carefull owner and my friend has never used it.

Upon inspection, it all seems nicely light patina.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about the mvmt and model. Value isnt too interesting as it will stay within family.

The picture doesnt show the excellent condition. Really a nice piece

ST168.0044 at first glance, nice watch and I think these Connies are very underated at the moment (guess its a design thing and the 1001movement), I would say give it a good clean and make sure that is 'crud' around the crystal and not corrosion and then replace the bracelet with a correct original one (I will check what reference it needs) or an original tapered leather one (which come up regularly on the bay)

    Cheers Tom
