In August I'll have been a member for ten years, which is kinda hard to believe.

1. Just watches, knowledge about watches, and leisure.

2. Yes, it has. A cult dedicated to the worship of Speedmasters has cropped up.

3. I can't say that I've predicted any of the changes that have happened over the years. The moderating team is incredible here and have created an excellent environment for the members. As a result most of the changes to the actual forum have been positive.

4. Having conversations about watches and buying a gorgeous Eterna Automatic from Tony have been the highlights. I've never been involved enough for there to be any lows.

I joined dec of 2013 . I know not quite 10 years .

All I can say the OF members and the guidelines Id what makes this place special …

1. What did OF bring you besides watches?

Plenty of friends around the world that I chat to regularly and have helped in several ways in and out of the watch world.

2. Did the culture of OF change over the years?

Yes, a lot more modern watch focused now and investment centric..
A lot more pseudo dealers in the FS section

3. Did OF change in a way you expected and wanted?

It evolved with the masses like above, expected Yes, wanted not really

4. What was the highlight and all time low on OF?

Highlight has been GTG with people on the other side of the world when there. (Any San Diego members .)😗
Lowlights have all been banned due to god moderators

5. How do you see the future of OF?

It will keep evolving more modern and Investment but the vintage guys will still be around and plentiful.


I really have to take my hat off to the owners for giving us this sandpit to play in and all the work they and others do to keep the toys that get thrown out put back in each day. ( because there is a lot we don’t see or hear that goes on )
