I completely get this. It’s important to set limits with others, especially those closest to you, and to have time and activities that are yours alone. When I’ve had enough of others, I climb into my sea kayak and paddle away, secure in the knowledge that for a few hours no one can follow me, call me, text me, email me, ask anything of me, or talk to me. Just the sound of my boat slicing through the water and beautiful scenery all around. It’s very freeing.

Hand a BIC shaver to that wierd lookin dude sitting behind you. 😁
All seagoing captains have traditionally had cool facial hair. Now stop bothering me, sir, or I shall ram my kayak into your home and sink it.

You might want to take the highway and simply ram your car into our garage. Remember...I'm in southwest Florida. 😁

Me too, but I get on my motorcycle for those times when I want to be alone. The phone is in my tank bag in case I would have an issue, but otherwise nothing to intrude on my need to concentrate on the task at hand. I do some of my best thinking and contemplating when I'm out on the road in my area, very little traffic and I am more worried deer crossing the road than I am of other cars/trucks, especially now that hunting season has started. Everyone needs to find time to be by themselves, whether at home or some place away from home.

As far as the OPs first note is concerned I may let a new watch sit for a few days but then I have to size the bracelet correctly, it's never yours until it properly fits YOUR wrist. I can't see putting it aside for weeks, months or years.
