Maybe a redial? Bad picture.

Bad picture and a bad redial.

Really can't say much more based on the one bad photo provided.

If you have the watch to hand, give it a shake, if it thumps it is a bumper auto model dating it to the 1948-1955 window. If it has a screw on back it's likely model 2576, if it has a press back on then maybe another similar ref, it escapes my memory for now but something like 27XX. If it is smooth when shaken (and has a press on back) its more likely a model 2848 from 1955 to ~1960 which was a full rotor auto. Either way I do agree with those above who suggest it has been redialled. The text is actually pretty good and matches that usually seen in the mid to late '50s but the layout and lack of marks on the subdial suggest some later intervention.
