I was also looking at this and thought about sending in a low(ish) offer, but something just seems off about the dial. No 'Swiss Made' and the indices extend past the minute markers, which might indicate a redial? I haven't gotten my MWO to have a proper look though. Serial is 22082xxx according to the seller, however the pictures only show the 2208, so not sure if the movement is within range. It does however have an "Adjusted two 2 positions" and OXG bridge which i could be correct according to some forum searching, and would indicate american delivery
Dial is not correct (redone). Movement is in rage, but to be 100% sure its a Speedmaster 105.003 movement you have to check with Omega. Case looks OK. It's a project to find an original dial, the one on there is pretty much worthless.
Agreed, the dial was refinished and it wasn't a great job. The subdials are really bad. It could be worth it if you have a dial/hands combo lying around...
I saw this on my phone first, the dial fooled me. I almost was the recipient of that heartache @oddboy
It was originally listed at 8800 last night. I almost did it on impulse , but then the description mentioned the lack of Swiss Made, so I had a better look, and a chat with some local advisor's here and decided on a pass.
I misread the listing as "swiss made only", and because I was on my phone I completely missed the redone lower right-hand quadrant of the dial. My impulse control wasn't as good : /
I don't think this is a terrible watch at a low-enough price - besides the dial, everything else is all right and I find the bezel fairly attractive. If you paid less than half the value of a good one, I think you'll end up with a perfectly satisying watch to wear.
Excited to see how this all turns out! Saw it sold, and was curious who bought it. Hope to see some pictures once you get it
