With all due respect..... I don't think this watch is too overpriced, maybe a bit but not much. I've considered it for the insert alone. That coupled with a great case, nice 1039 and near perfect dial.

Agree, the seller is excellent. It's typically Rolex he's dealing with but Michael is a highly trustworthy fellow and a very nice guy.

Amazing condition. Love to see cases like that with a 1039 that isn't all chewed up.

I think if it was not for the engraving it would have sold.

Dude, they love Omegas on TRF. Their Omega subforum is second only to our very own OF here, and they have excellent specimens on sale often as well.

Not a rare reference, but definitely a beautiful example.

It is a beautiful example. From my experience hoarding case backs the 145.022-69 would be one of the easier case backs to obtain, with a little time, if the engraving was a real issue for the new owner.

The last one I saw sold on auction (a couple of weeks ago), in that excellent condition, went for USD 7.200, head only, buyers premium included. OK, it had no engraving, but this one (with engraving) is 700-900$ cheaper, and has a bracelet worth 1k$ with it. So how it can lay unsold for 10 days beats me.

Maybe we see the bubble burst now then....
