Says something to the effect it's nice to wear just be careful washing your hands.. Need to study pics on a large screen to determine case damage... Anyone? It's obvious on a big screen that the watch has been dropped lug first onto a hard surface. As a result the periphery of the case ring is dented, thus the caseback will not close properly. I admire the seller for pointing this out in his auction.
I can't see how this can be a major issue, STS (for example) have an amazing in house gold smith, the work they do is amazing. I saw and 18K flighmaster at STS once which basically needed the bracelet completely re-making, they did that easily! They have also worked on a couple of my 18K watches, including one with a whack so bad the case back wouldn't even go on, they sorted that no problem
