    Saw this on eBay...

    18k Seamaster 751 , trying to nderstwnd seller comment about a dink in the back and the case water resistance integer ty is compromised. Says something to the effect it's nice to wear just be careful washing your hands..

    Need to study pics on a large screen to determine case damage...

    Anyone?

    It's obvious on a big screen that the watch has been dropped lug first onto a hard surface.

    As a result the periphery of the case ring is dented, thus the caseback will not close properly.

    I admire the seller for pointing this out in his auction.

    I can't see how this can be a major issue, STS (for example) have an amazing in house gold smith, the work they do is amazing. I saw and 18K flighmaster at STS once which basically needed the bracelet completely re-making, they did that easily! They have also worked on a couple of my 18K watches, including one with a whack so bad the case back wouldn't even go on, they sorted that no problem
