watches are a lot like women ... sometimes things SHOULD be great and work and they just do not

my cognitive hemisphere was all over it ... my emotional hemisphere fell asleep after 20 min. ;-)

(at least the divorce was not messy - unlike in real life I came out ahead :D)

and then sometimes a very natural girl waltzes in ... who does not have a lot going for her (meh-brand, meh-condition, meh everything ;-) ... but my emotional hemisphere is working overtime ... instant smile everytime I check time :taunt:

I was even debating with me if I should spend the "low 40ies bucks" for a watch like this ... (it was not about the $$$, but about going to the post office, doing the account transfer, do I really *need* another low end watch? etc...) :whistling:

well - I am actually quite happy I did ::love::

any "did not work out / instant soulmate" stories to share? ::popcorn::

    cheers
    Al

I've been told it's something called "personality, verve and humour." Sounds like bogus to me, but who knows?

If she treated me like I treat a time piece, I'd have been traded away long ago.:D

The thing I love about watches is you can have a fantasy life and different identities.
A diver, a pilot, a race car driver- the watches are your mistresses. I love my harem.

Mine for 43, don't see how I'll make it to 50!
She doesn't recognize my genius or my rugged good looks.

Does that make a watch winder equivalent to a eunuch?
