Rock on WD! Glad to hear you are healing and that your bill was significantly reduced. Need to get a watch back on that wrist! :)

This is awesome news William. I’m so glad we were all able to help out. Any idea when you can go back to work? Will your employer allow you to do light duty (office work) until your fit to be back in heavy load mode?

Oh, and if you ask @Mad Dog , he can tell you how to fashion a bungee cord to hold a watch on that brace.

That's great, so after all the donations you only had to pay $1000? Don't forget about lost wages and rehab expenses

The 1000 was just for the hospital stay = $166,635.53.
Still have surgery bills , different docs bills, orthopedic bill, wrist doctors, anesthesia, x-rays , I haven't worked since month now etc , etc.
I have a procedure on Wednesday for a biopsy of my temporal artery. No rehab as of yet, but that may come @ my next doc appt.

And climbing ladders too I hope. If it’s higher then I can reach with a 12ft A-frame on stable ground and my belt no higher than the top- I pay someone.

After my car accident in Dec 2014 I stopped keeping track of the bills one it got to over $360,000. Insurance covered most of it, and the $15,000 maximum out of pocket for med insurance was covered by the guy that hit us who only had $50,000 in liability insurance.

Praying that you squeak through this with full recovery and some control over the rest of the bills.

A little update & some good news. . Had surgery on my head (temporal artery biopsy) last Wednesday went well & healing properly according to the doc this morning.
Just some bruised artery's from my fall, docs were worried about an aneurysm, so great news as I was cleared. .Arm is still way too swollen for wearing a watch but not for appreciating them..
