Thank you all in advance. Does Omega still make and sell these straps? If not where could I begin my hunt? I know they also issued a green sharkskin on the white dial.

Hi there, welcome along, set an avatar, hang out with us... :)

As to sharkskin straps... you're talking about the ones they made in the late 60s/early 70s I take it?

Out of production for a long time, although they do sometimes appear on eBay.

You may be better off looking for/having made a leather strap with the desired finish/colour and fitting an omega buckle.

    Cheers

    Chris

Reread your title... did you mean one of these:

Also NLA. There are some Hirsch straps in similar finishes although not made of sharkskin.

A bit of googling has shown that these were very short lived and haven't been available for a long time.

You might get lucky if someone puts up a NOS one on ebay... but I wouldn't hold your breath.

    What does NOS mean exactly?

New old stock - something that's brand new, but old... as in it was bought as a spare but not used, or a dealer had it as a stock item and didn't sell it at the time.

Again, your chances of finding one are not high.

Green ones are easier, I think. Thanks. I just want to make sure it is near impossible to find one before going aftermarket, as I am keen on OEM.
What about. Did u see my other posts on Buckle authenticity, your opinion would be welcomed.

I got a lot with older NOS Omega straps and this one was in the lot

Is this the blue shark strap mentioned above? It is 20 mm.

Was it made for the SMP 300 around 1998?
