That’s what the $295 expedited shipping is for.

OBs say 5000 in first year. If 1000 boutiques (don't know how many there are) each get 5 watches, the first 5 people get one. Could be awhile before they get to number 40 on the list. But in a few years how many people will be distracted by another watch? We watch folks are easily distracted by shiny objects. Still, could be a few years by the numbers. I would like to hear from others with experience from prior releases.

OB in Topanga Plaza, Woodland Hills, Ca. said approximately 5000 watches the first 2 years of production, ramping down slowly after that.

White and blue maybe?
Brown goes well with the blue as well.

As someone else mentioned though, not sure a nato would be good on this particular watch due to the special caseback.

It looks better than I thought.
Thank you

Just had a thought – since the dial is silver, won't the dial patina over time?

I think that we should look at the Apollo 8 watch, which is limited only in the sense that it it produced in low numbers, so Omega will keep this latest watch in its catalogue for a few years, producing the watch in small batches once the initial demand has been met.

My OB said he thinks it will be produced for 5 years until the next anniversary. Reasonable numbers in the first year or two then dramatically reduced numbers for the last 3 or 4 years just to keep in in the catalogue as said above. So kind of LP.

Obviously coated with anti oxidant or it would tarnish, even in a water resistant case.. I have a couple of silver cased clocks that were treated over 25 years ago and they are still untarnished. A dial would be easy peezy.

I was 7th in my OB placing deposit. Very excited to get this one. Missed out on the previous. And I do think this one is better 😁....

I'm 22nd on my OB list so I'll probably get one but I'm guessing around 6-12 months. I like the 14 second track "what would you do in 14 seconds on the previous one and the snoopy lume but I like everything else about this watch more. Looks like I owe Omega another $4,600.

So you placed $5k deposit on this watch, and somehow try to communicate that with Rolex, AP and others you are important.

Are you important enough that your Rolex AD called you to offer A Rolex 116595?

Because I bought two of those last year and skipped the waiting list.

One for my wife and one for my girlfriend.

That's funny but I thought you were going to say "One for my wife and one for your mom." Missed opportunity but still funny.

Hahaha jk

but I like to play pretend sometimes rofl

Disclaimer: I’m not married, and not very important

Speaking for myself here...I passed on buying the A11 50th watch from my OB and am going for the A13 Snoopy 50th watch with the same OB. I do like the bracelet on the A11 50th, but that's where it ends. I can't stand two-tone watches at all...and especially in that shade of "moonshine" gold they have. The sub dial logo was also imo not the best image they could have used for the landing. Overall I find that watch to be unattractive.

The Snoopy (45th and 50th) imo have great contrasting color dials and I like the straps on both A LOT. They look really nice and make the watch look more utilitarian than they would with a steel bracelet. It would have been nice if it came with the fabric strap and bracelet, but the strap still looks good imo.

The Snoopy subdial on the 50th I think is appropriate for what it represents. The 45th Snoopy subdial was more out of place as it wasn't a copy of the award itself like on the 50th. I like how the dial on the 50th is silver...the subdial Snoopy is embossed silver as well although it looks like painted white in pictures. Will look more silver-like in person imo.

Do we know Snoopy is embossed silver? I didn't see that, thought it was white. If so thats cool.

Is this the only watch being produced for the 50th anniversary? Some members here had mentioned there potentially being a gold watch – not sure if that was based on credible information, or speculation because of the anniversary being golden.
There is plenty of time until year ends. Who knows, all of a sudden we may get a LE Golden Snoopy!

It's not a game when supply can't meet demand. They have orders, they take lists, they build the watches, product is shipped to those at the top of the list.

If by 'Rolex games' you mean holding shipments back, thereby artificially limiting supply, I see no indication Omega engages in that. They are taking deposits. Rolex doesn't do that. They are guaranteeing delivery. Rolex doesn't do that. I think they will build and ship at a suitable pace.
Just for sake of info. Rolex does nothing of what you wrote.

There’s Ag925 on it as well on the centre of the main dial there’s Ag925 if you look closely 😀
