I wanted to put up a few iPhone pics of the event last night. They had the new seamaster in steel and also flew in a really neat tourbillon that I had never seen before.
Also had the opportunity to meet Adam and a few others, I just realized that I forgot to grab a pic of Adam's ranchero [emoji17]
Many nice watches, sorry I missed it! Thanks for the pictures Todd. EDIT: Who all from OF was there, were there any others besides you and Adam? And I hope this can be done again...maybe we should talk to the AD/boutique on Michican Ave about a GTG.
It was a fun evening...I only brought 2 watches with me, coming from work, the Ranchero and my C-cased, black dial cal. 321 with orange stop seconds hand. The were a few collectors (quite a few, mirabile dictu) who didn't seem to belong to any forum, let alone omegaforums. Lou from TZ had organized it, and I know he took lots of photos too. I got to try on the steel SM300 reissue, and the yellow gold Tresor with silver waffle dial and date at 6.
Nice Adam, not sure I've seen your C-cased 321...excuse for another GTG, yes! What did you think of the new SM300? That is a modern Omega I could see on my wrist.
Ed, it's this one. Oh, I guess the seconds hand is more of a red! The new SM300 is gorgeous, they did a nice job on the vintagey bracelet, too. The lume is less "aged" in person than the ads.
I have certainly seen this! And I may have to take a trip down to Michican Ave. to see the SM300 in person.
