Envy you guys joining the event in a few days time. Having been part of the Frankfurt edition, I am convinced you’re in for a real treat. 😉

Have a wonderful day with Omega and some fellow Speedmaster enthusiasts!

If anyone is flying into LaGuardia for this, here’s an important tip. Unless you land at Terminal A (unlikely, it’s pretty much for shuttle flights only) do NOT try to take a taxi. For terminals B-D they put you on a bus to terminal A, which is the only place you can catch a cab right now. A friend of mine flew into Terminal C during a busy time and it took him 1.5 hours just to get on the bus to Terminal A! Take a Lyft or Uber instead...they have organized designated pickup points right at the terminal, or at least they do at Terminal C, which I arrived at later on the same day that my friend had arrived and had the nightmare taxi experience. In contrast to him, I was in my Lyft car almost immediately. Funnily enough, the Lyft/Uber pickup area at Terminal C is where taxi pickup used to be. If I was a taxi driver, I’d be furious!

Hello everyone.....

Well It was quite an event..... Lots of watches on hand.... The 321 Plat that was based off the 105-012 case ref.

I met people from around the world.... I did have a chance to catch up with RJ.... @Robert-Jan

What was not reported ( I did not see it anywhere ... so give if someone did ok...) ... was that RJ dedicated the event to our friend Chuck Maddox... I know RJ for many many years and he typically does not " drop" names like that... He did not tell me this before the event and I wore two watches that day. For people who know me and have met me at GTG... I have never worn a watch on both wrists... But I decided to wear my 105-012 66 on my left and The SeamasterProChrono Ti on my right... ( thinking of Chuck). So When out of the blue RJ said on stage something to the effect " Myself and Bill , he is in the audience if I were to look at bill I would just to cry..... " When he said that I started to cry... IT was a very special #Speedytuseday .

All I can say Chuck would have loved it and the community....

Here is a pic of RJ and myself at the very end of the event at about 11 pm local time.... fyi event started out at 2:30 pm.

I didn’t make the cut.

But that’s OK...I have years of academy training regarding not making the cut. 👍
