Too bad there are no photos of his rarities! http://www.nytimes.com/2013/11/30/fashion/a-passionate-collector-of-complex-timepieces.html?src=recg
He bought another APRO More money than taste It's just that I think the APRO is one of the ugliest high end watches I've seen.
And while I'm on a rant...... Tom Ford suit, polished Berluti loafers and woven Hermès tie Why no mention of his shirt, singlet, undies and socks. Surely they all come from illustrious "brand" houses too don't they? I wonder if he leave the maker's label on the sleeve of his suit?
The guy did say he immediately bought his AP because he saw Nick Faldo wearing one, so we know he's a wanker. It's New York - while I don't think it's en vogue to leave the woven label on the sleeve, you are required to boast about it, right?
I prefer to interpret it as reflecting poorly on investment bankers. This guy is in Hong Kong. I don't know what the label-flaunting practices are there. Perhaps even more egregious. And we know he's not American in the opening caption: ‘‘Unlike paintings or cars, a watch is quite personal because it is worn on your wrist,’’ he said. Cars are not personal?! Good God man, have you ever even driven a car, or have you just been ferried about in limousines all your life? This man is not merely a wanker. He is... dare I say it... a rider.
Yea I'm a big RO fan, don't mind the ROO either but RO is definitely a top piece IMO, Genta at his absolute best
