    ... any thoughts?

Just wondering what Trump, Kim and Guam residents recommend.

It all depends how close you are to the epicentre ... but at least you can stop worrying about radium or tritium dials.

You won't need lume - you'll be glowing.

Any 15,000 Gauss or Master Chronometer should do. Milgauss, if you're a Rolex fan.

But seriously, in conditions a human could survive, just about any watch will be fine. An EMP which could take down the electronics in a watch would very likely set the wiring in your house on fire. A mechanical probably wouldn't be affected at all.

This (unless a nuclear winter scenario blocks the sun completely)

    A compass and a sundial?

Got to be manual (magnetic disturbance and all), got to glow (dark nuclear winter), got to be beautiful (what else are you doing in the shelter?).

I'd vote tdmp that will tell you some of what you are missing!

It probably doesn't have enough metal in it to be affected.
But don't take any chances. Just wrap your wrist in foil!

I'd trade in a vintage Speedy for one of these - price seems about equivalent

Starting to feel like the 1960's all over again. I remember duck and cover at school and the air raid sirens gong off in test to make sure they work. Had a friend who use to have one of those 1960 fall out shelters in there back yard when he bought a house he turned it into a dark room for developing film dam thing was well built. Another thing I remember some building in the town I lived in at the time had those signs mounted out side to signify a fall out shelter in the building. I remember a poster back in the day of blacklight posters showing my age now the poster said do all this stuff in case of nuclear attack then bend over and kiss your @SS good by. I remember training in the US Navy we would train to wash down the ship in case of NBC attack stands for Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical we would put on rain gear and gas mask and scrub down the ship with sea water and soap and there was a out side sprinkler system for this if it survived the damage of the attack also we would contaminate our self's BIG time if the real thing ever happened if we went out and scrubbed down radio active material this was in the 1980's so they probably got a better game plan I hope now 30 or so years later. I lived on Guam for a year when in the Navy when on the sub tender USS Proteus the water is like the color turquoise surrounding the island they had some cool water falls and during WW2 my Dad went there a little after we took it back from the Japanese he explored a cave they found a dead Japanese soldier on the skull he still had his glasses on. It's a small island there would be nothing left of it if nuked.

Well let's hope the two selfish muppets with shrivelled penises don't let it come to that.

Incidentally does anyone know what watch Trump wears? If at all (I guess he's learnt to tell the time?). He often wears long cuffs.
