When I was searching my drawers for hands to an old Longines, I found this very nice Gay Freres bamboo bracelet from the late 30ies, and it sat so damn nice on my blackface Omega 23.4 from 1938!

How wide is this bamboo bracelet? Usually these bracelets are rather narrow at around 15/16mm...

It's 16 mm between lugs on the Omega, so not very broad, no. But as dsio says, surprisingly comfortable to wear.

Also, they are for small sized watches from the late 30ies/ early 40ies.

Is it a date stamp in your bamboo clasp?
