Here's one: http://bit.ly/19r8bcp WWII was a terrific war for bastards. Just wish I could find a clip of Phil Hartman's "The Bastard Battallion" SNL sketch.
Major Slugg was apparently a Marine Raider, according to Mr. Google. From the dates, He must have been at Guadalcanal, where it all started, and it looks like he served the duration. He had good claim on the 'bastard' title, I think!
Maj. Slugg was undoubtedly a magnificent bastard who deserved better than a gold-plated Enicar. Another excellent inscription, this time on an excellent watch, commemorating 20 years of diaper duty: The business owner seems to have been a man of culture: http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1P2-8030064.html
Norwegian JOLU has the ultimate case back engraving on his Rolex Explorer II. I lay awake whole nights trying to come up with something as nice. No luck yet. JOLU: s pics - without permission but I believe it is OK
I suppose it's possible, though W.C. Fields (1880-1946) could not have had this watch for long. http://bit.ly/133AEGr
Mmmmmmm..........very nice little Enicar, inscriptions don't put me off so I've added it to my collection! Which has gone from being "My Omega Collection" to "My Swiss Watch Collection"
Well done. An inscription like that would never put me off either. It's the "To Harvey, love Doris" that puts me off the scent.
Especially if coincidentally your name is also Harvey. Your wife will aks " who is Doris ?"......uh...oh...
Wow, a watch presented to the coach of the 1951 NCAA basketball champions! What the Fajardo? Who is San Beda? Oh, I get it... it's the OTHER NCAA - the National CATHOLIC Athletic Association... of the Philippines.
