Light pollution, high winds and cloud meant that this was the best yours truly and the trusty iPhone could manage last night Anyone else manage a shot or two ?
Couple shots here https://omegaforums.net/threads/supermoon-tonight-please-fix-your-moonphase.48567/#post-580490
The main topic was to get people to fix their moonphase accordingly because I just frustrates me to see such beautiful moonphase complications without the phase properly adjusted. I would have been pleased with some watch pictures but I don't mind the real moon shots.
I sized this down for phone wallpaper. The reflection in the water is going to need some enhancement...
No, don't artificially enhance the reflection at all. If you were lucky, the clouds interfered with the effect it had on pea brained people as well as the visual aspect.
Clouds parted for a few minutes outside Seattle last night. I was amazed at the detail I was able to obtain. Canon 1D Mark IV, EF 70-300 4-5.6 L IS lens. Love the craters at the top right rim around 12 to 3 o'clock.
It was heavily overcast here. All I could see was a vaguely lighter patch of clouds. Is that a searchlight? Is it a plane? No, it's Supermoon!
We had poor conditions last night in Perth, Western Aus., so had to make do the Aussie Sandgroper way
You can't get more Supermoon cool than this. At the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, the moon, or supermoon, rises above the launch pad at Launch Complex 1 Nov. 14, where the Soyuz MS-03 spacecraft stands poised to liftoff following its transport to the pad for final pre-launch preparations.
