Not Round Timepieces that Have Endured

While reading the review for the Glashütte Original Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date review, there was a quote that stood out that had me thinking.
Being new to the world of fine timepieces, I do not have the "watch chops" to know all of the non-round watches that have stood out and conquered the test of timelessness well. However, I am a fan of non-round watches. Particularly more square than rectangular.

As a fun post, what legendary, not round timepieces make your list?

    Here are my picks:
Glashütte Original Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date

    Longines Heritage 1969

    Longines Automatic Cal. 890, 1977

I think it's probably fair to throw the Monaco in there as well.

I have no idea if it would be classed as timeless, but @tyrantlizardrex was chatting to @neilfrancis about his watches in his latest podcast. Neil's Cartier is a very cool looking 'non round' watch.

Am outside now but I will post a couple of vintage 'not round' pieces when i get back. They are far from the likes of Cartier etc but I've got a couple of Oris and Sekonda with very interesting rectangular, art deco designs ::rimshot::

Personally, I have a soft spot for rectangular ones; i think they are a little "rebellious" too; especially in this world where round ones dominate;)

I'm biased as I love TV dials. However, as much as I like them, I don't think they can be said to be timeless because they are so of their time. But if anyone wants to see them (again, yawn), I'll be glad to post pics.

Maybe the JLC Reverso is a slightly obvious pick, but it's always easy on the eye...and no one's posted one yet.

Wow. Showing how green I still am, I do not believe I've seen the Tag Camaro before. Monaco, yes but Camaro, that is new to my eyes. Or perhaps it's just the first time I've slowed down to really take a good look at it.

    Gorgeous piece...

These are the Oris and Sekonda.

I like the art deco dials very much. They are ladies watch so I won't necessarily wear them, but i got them for almost negligible $, so they are definitely good to keep.

    Classy looks!
