A sub 2k Ed White with stolen picture from Bulangs & Son, hope no one falls for this... After the 1k pounds Ed White, maybe there will be some people who will take risk http://chronocentric.com/forums/chronotrader/index.cgi?page=1;md=read;id=71782
This 'seller' on Chronocentric previously listed a 145.022-69 which I was interested in. When I requested proof of ownership and previous transaction references I received a reply, I quote. "This is all too much hassle" What a crook !!
Chronotrader is not monitored. Mods do their best to have listings verified with hand written dates pictured with watch but this site is rife with scammers. I have bought a '66 Speedy from there successfully but due diligence is order of the day over there.
This guy is 100% dodgy, he is also selling a SM 300 for apparently a normal price. I contacted him about the dial thinking it looked like a service dial, not mentioned in his ad. His short reply was I have told you it has been serviced . Since when does a service include a service dial ? Stay well away.
