So I was able to source this dial and silver hands and had them put on a 2007 Omega Speedmaster 3570.50

It is a truly striking piece now that I've got it back from the watchmaker! Anyone else do this and have shots to share?

I liked the Speedy so much as it is that it took me over a year to work up the nerve to use the panda dial. Now I love it even more.

I'm wearing mine today. However I do plan to convert back to 3572.50 soon.

I'm on the fence about buying a donor to rebuild. For example, came across a speedy with service dial, just a bit too much to make it worth doing this conversation again. Just trying to figure out if I can't stand the heat in 30+ years vs the enjoyment the next 30 years. :)

I believe the one posted earlier in this thread is silver and I used to own the Italian dial but that is more cream than white. This pic shows it's true color:

The Alaska Project is a bright white:

It's getting tough to come by parts now that Ofrei was cut off.

I thought that I was the only person who wanted a panda dial with a red hand. I'm glad to see one in person.

Please sell it to me when you get tired of it.

Is there a difference on the white Japanese Mitsioka (sp) dial and the Italian?

Can you get red subdial hands for it? I know a lot of people would care for such a colorful watch but I would love small red hands to match the sweeper.

Very nice regardless and as long as the parts are genuine I wouldn't mind at all. I have random OEM RLX parts from Yacht Master and an older Sub blue bezel for a Sub Date to add color to my watch but would never call it a franken, just modified lol.

Or is the Mitsio dial aftermarket? Sorry new to Omega.

The Italian dial is a very light cream color with white subdials, printed logo and indices and has a very matte finish throghout. The Mitsukoshi ("Mitsu" and "Koshi" for easier saying and spelling) dial is white with black subdials, applied logo and indices - the white portion is a semigloss finish and the black subdials have the "rings" finish.

I don't know if there are red subdial hands available for the 1861/861/1863/863/864 movement. The closest is probably the subdial hands from the original Mark II racing, but even those skew more orange and the minutes totalizer only came in white.
The red chrono hand on mine is a replacement part for the Alaska Project Speedy Pro.

I want one of these. Can someone tell me the do's and donts?

Like I see a reduced for sale now. Is that the same watch as In this thread?

If there are different sizes I'd like info on the largest size models. I also want the true white Mitsu/koshi for sure no matter what as they look better. This will be a watch I will keep forever so need to get it right at first.

Thanks to anyone willing to help. Feel free to PM or leave here way the next person can learn too.

Mitsukoshi mod is is a great look. I do prefer the silver subdial hands over the white.

Reduced speedmasters are 39mm and the speedmaster date which is sometimes referred to as a reduced is 40mm wide. A Speedmaster professional and its predecessors are 42mm wide. The Mirsukoshi is a professional and 42mm.

Sadly, you're a little late to the party. I bought mine from Ofrei when I heard they were loosing their Omega parts account. You're best bet is relentless searching watchrecon.com and eBay.com, but be ready to pay now that the supply has dried up. You may have better luck searching for a Apollo XI 35th Anniversary. It has the date in red under the world professional and all silver hands.
