·I just read this charming story about Kim Carnes, and her hit song from 1981, “Betty Davis Eyes.” Apparently, after the song got famous, Betty’s grandson finally appreciated who his grandmother was, and Betty sent Kim and the original two writers of the song letters thanking them. Kim sent her roses and champagne, and asked if they could do a photo together:
