At the same opening price, I'd be making a run at the clean one. Remember, dials are a large part of the value of any vintage watch, and the scuffs are on the crystal of the one I recommended. (you can tell by looking at different angles) I look at the dial first, then the bezel, any medallion or case back logo, and then the lugs when judging the outside of a watch. I'd bet that the majority of vintage collectors have the dial condition as one of the 2 or 3 most important things.
