I'm not sure of the etiquette of commenting on watches that are for sale so if this is inappropriate please do let me know but I wondered what people thought of this "NOS" watch listed on Chrono24 this evening?

    https://www.chrono24.co.uk/universalgenve/nos-uni-compax-big-eye--id4135243.htm

It is not yet a watch that I am overly familiar with but a big-eye (with a white dial if I can find/afford one) is a grail watch of mine and I need to start learning what to look for.

It looks spectacular to me and entirely genuine based on other available images but the price seems to reflect that and I'm not sure how NOS it really is.

That's one sharp case. Saw this reference last December at Christie's. Really liked it. Price isn't as high as the realized price if that helps any.

That won't last long... very hard reference to find in this condition.

You're right - it's now showing as having been reserved already.

Not sure what I learned there other than to be in a position to buy and to act quickly next time.

That's worth maybe US$25,000 at the moment, from what I can tell... Nice buy for whoever found it!
