Seaborg
·Hello everybody,
Here is another watch from my collection that I am offering for sale.
It is a NOS stainless steel Zodiac ref. 916 56-05 straight from the 50s.
The watch is absolutely NOS. Everything is immaculate, even the strap and tag. I have decided to sell it because I just cannot convince myself to wear it.
Here are some specifications:
Size: 30mm in diameter (without crown) and about 7mm in thickness.
Dial: Silverish dial with luminous (radium?) arabic numbers indexes. Black minute track on the dial rim. Small second at 6. The lume plots have turned to a very nice yellow/orange color. SWISS inscription at 6. It is truly a fantastic dial.
Hands: Luminous (radium?) baton hands with luminous triangle tip. The color of the lume is homogeneous with the one of the plots. The hands exhibit a bluish color depending upon the incident light.
Case: Stainless steel case, obviously unpolished. Very nice factory brushing on both caseband and lugs. Horizontal brushing on the caseband and vertical on the lugs. The original sticker is still present on the caseback and says “Ref. 916 56-05”.
Bracelet: NOS brown/orange leather strap with stainless steel buckle. The original tag is still attached to the strap “Zodiac, antimagnetique, Le Locle, Suisse”.
Movement: Manual winding mechanical movement. I have not opened the watch (and I think nobody ever did) so I don’t know the caliber. Running and keeping good time.
Accessories: None.
Price: 500€ net to me, international DHL shipping included.
Payment by wire or PayPal "friends and family".
No return.
Located in France (South of France).
Thanks OF for the space.
