I could take the watch to USA on Wednesday and send from there, delivery included. If you don't book this by Wednesday it will be a few months till I go to USA again. (And the wife wont carry it for me!) - So its shipping, customs and duty to factor in.
From experience, if a watch is popular, in the first 24 hours I get many gentle approaches with offers, or requests for often spurious extra information. I will of course reply to all messages eventually, but I will say a message that contains the words "I will buy it at your price" will trump all other messages. If you want to buy this, you have to tell me - I price my watches very well with the intention of agreeing a sale within 24 hours. So far, that is what has happened with the exception of a cheap gold seamaster!
