This is a special watch. I obtained this watch from a friend in Germany. My friend's father was a Technical Manager for Omega. The watch is an "Engineering Sample" that made the rounds throughout the Omega Europe organization before actually going into production. That is why the case back does not have a logo, nor does the movement have a serial number. The Omega perforated "sports" strap alone is worth $400 to collectors - very rare and in perfect condition. I purchased a few NOS examples from my German friend of various Omega watches. I sold a few of them to other Omega enthusiasts on this forum. They can attest to the quality of the pieces. Because it is a rare example, I'm asking $2,300 USD obo for it. If you purchase the watch I will gave you the name of the person I bought it from. I don't want this information published. I had a full service done on the movement last year and it is running perfectly. I also purchased the correct Omega SS bracelet for it. This can be purchased separately if desired. PayPal accepted, no fees. Shipping is free to the U.S. only. Prefer U.S. buyer so I can send registered mail.
Fantastic stuff A bit surprised by how little metal there was on the lugs vs. the production case? It just took one polish to get into that square angle around the strap edges...
