Just because it has a sticker still on the back, it doesn't mean it's New Old Stock. There's too much scratches & dings on that bezel by the looks of it to be unworn.

Yes the same seller, actually, a Buenos Aires NOS watch. I did not bought because he did not accept credit card, only cash.

Actually I do not have any intentions in buying it, but it was good to show. If anybody is interested just send me a PM and I can arrange the direct contact with the seller.

What is the nature of that sticker? It looks more like an inventory control marker.

Is the band signed? What about the buckle?

More questions than answers about this one.

I still think it is a very nice watch. But frankly, US$1,600 is a very high price for a watch like that.

The seller has an antiquarian store, his business is selling paintings, lighting furnitures, sculptures, ie. As I understood, long time ago he bought a watch store with all their inventory for a bargain price, so he kept some of the watches. This is one of them. The bracelet is original, he bought this leather one later. Yes, I think 1600 is not a bargain.

I asked him today. Waiting for answer. I remember another Omega 161.012 but no NOS but really mint, the photos are on my other thread of Buenos Aires NOS.
