Rather than high jacking the Blue Dial Geneva thread I though I would post these are it is hard to find anything new old stock.

I stumbled across this piece and took a gamble, slight marks to the dial but you cannot see them in normal wear.

Mine. A 1972 according to the reference. Strap not original or OMEGA. Plain caseback too.

These are nice watches.

I have this same Geneve but in an 18K case with gold face. Will ask my daughter to send me a pic so I can post it (it's with her now).

I recall asking my watchmaker what the 1481 movement was about as I thought Omegas of this era were using 1102 movements.

He said there would be no problem repairing it as lots of cheaper Tissots used the same one. It sounded like a zipper when being wound, a bit noisy.

Yes, at one time Tissot and Omega were linked and used identical movements in some watches.

This is a similar watch to yours (although nowhere near as nice) that I used to own. It had a Tissot 2481 movement.

One of my earliest purchases and at that time didn't fully grasp the significance of the box, handtag and original buckle and strap.

The watch features the cal. 602 which is the last vintage manual wind chronometer movement omega produced.
