Hi. I’ve posted photos of what is being presented as a NOS solid gold Seamaster 165.003. It has the tag, original strap & buckle, box and papers. What’s your opinion on the watch and most importantly a fair price to pay/value? Thanks

Yours looks great.
These are my old 165.003s for comparison purposes.
I think it’s almost impossible to set a value on a NOS antique like yours. It really is a case of 'as much as the market will bear'.

No doubt this is a very nice watch and set

But with the scratches on caseback and crown already visiable in these pictures - Is this still NOS????

Is this still NOS????

I'd say not.

I have seen a number of watches for sale in Italy that are marketed as NOS but aren't. I have seen "fully stickered" Rolexes that have clearly been worn extensively. Just with the stickers left on!
