·Last week I picked up this De Ville ref # 5901.41.31, platinum case with cal. 1120. Produced in a series of 499 pieces, unless # 000 counts as the first piece, for the manufacture's 150th.
Last year I missed out on the opportunity to buy the first year production co-axial, so this kind of makes up for that.
The original strap is a bit dressy and I prefer a matte strap to glossy. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of storing my strap collection in an old Mickey Mouse lunchbox and I think one of my kids may have stashed it somewhere by accident. Until I find or buy an appropriate strap, I've got it on this funky nylon/Velcro from GasGasBones. I dig it.
