@ChicagoFrog - as you said, looks fantastic, doesn't seem to make light of the NOS terminology that others throw around.

One question I'd ask the experts is regarding the circular graining on the caseback. I thought that the graining came from refinishing and that true NOS pieces would have smooth casebacks with a crisp hippocampus. But I'd be happy to be told I'm wrong. Random internet picture for reference:

 

I think the circles are original and the polished ones are, well, polished. But I don't know for sure.
