Normally I put many Geneves in the recommended thread but… skip these ones

Every now and then one of these Geneves, often a 131.070 goes for $2000-2500 and people who may be unfamiliar are sitting there thinking wow, this inflation situation really is getting out of hand fast, I even had to PM someone that listed his for many times market value on a very pretty leather strap to explain that just because one sold crazy high doesn’t mean they’re all worth that.

This one will probably get relisted head only in a few weeks after it’s been plundered by a Speedmaster collector too, it’ll be far cheaper that time around so if you’re new to vintage Omega maybe wait until it doesn’t have a flat link on it 😀

Was hoping this one might slip under the radar since the bracelet isnt mentioned or highlighted.
(and yes, joking if not obvious, not much slips by on eBay anymore)

Yea someone PMed me on it too going why did you out it but the days these go cheap are just long gone.

The 321 crew are already sitting there like


incidentally these watches are also a bit part of why endlinks are so expensive as even with the not insubstantial failure rate of early flatlinks, there are more of them floating around on #4 end links than there are 19/20mm end links to fit them to

yup, I know I am not the only one to scan new Geneve listings daily just trolling for bracelets
