    Hi

Its official, the bug has bitten and the antidote did not work.

As somebody new to "collecting", no, maybe not collecting. Just wanting a few more watches, how does one know the fair value of the offerings you typically see on eBay?

    And tips. PLEASE.

    Thanks

Set up a saved eBay search, and put all auctions (only auctions, no Buy-It-Nows etc)on your "watch list" - after a couple end, you'll start to get an idea for what any particular watch model goes for on the open market.

Search eBay for the watch you are interested in, go to advanced search, tick for 'sold listing' and 'auction' and you will get previous prices. Then spend some time reading these forums etc to learn why some sell for much higher prices than others.

When searching completed eBay listings, remember that the prices in red are not realized, while the prices in green actually sold.
