I've considered the standard Moonwatch Co-Axial but the proportions just never clicked for me. That changed with the improvements Omega implemented this past year in the racing coaxial: increased subdial size, reduced thickness to 14.9mm, refined date window, and their METAS certified 9900 movement. I'm wondering if the community here has any idea if they plan to offer a non-racing version of this watch? Basically a 329.30.44.51.01.001 without the racing checker/hash. For my tastes I feel the hash competes too much with the tachymeter, despite it growing on me the longer I look at it . 2017 Speedmaster Racing Co-Axial Master Chronometer (329.30.44.51.01.001) Moonwatch Co-Axial (311.30.44.51.01.002)
I had been looking at the 44mm non racing version and by the time that i went in to order it i was told that Omega no longer manufactured it so I ended up buying the 44.25 racing. Having worn it now for two weeks and i really love the checker/hash. It seems to compliment the watch and make it a touch more modern
